Guess what—it’s almost National Composites Week!
What is National Composites Week?
This week aims to showcase the ways composite materials and manufacturing critically influence America’s current manufacturing system. This year, National Composites week is taking place from August 21-25.
We are thrilled to be involved with Composites Week because these innovative materials are the foundation of our manufacturing process. And as pioneers in the mass production of thermoplastic composites (TPC’s), we love to educate people about the vast capabilities of TPC’s for aerospace and other high performance applications. TPC’s are invaluable through their time efficiency, cost efficiency, and lower environmental impact. They can be manufactured in 1/3 to 1/5 of the time of other composites, and when produced at high rates, they lower recurring part costs. These efficiencies pave a bright future for manufacturers to adequately provide for growing demand, while simultaneously reducing their emissions.
Becoming involved in Composites Week is a great opportunity for us show how we operate, and display the indispensability of TPC’s. We also love to celebrate our talented team and their dedication to our operations. We can’t wait to make this year’s National Composites Week a special one!
