ATC Manufacturing Celebrates 20 Years as a Leading Producer of Thermoplastic Composite Parts

This summer, ATC Manufacturing celebrated 20 years as a leading thermoplastic composites parts manufacturer! We are extremely proud of the team members who have fostered a thriving environment focused on the industry’s future. 

Our expertise lies in manufacturing thermoplastic composites (TPCs). Compared to traditional materials and thermosets, TPCs are stronger and lighter, and can be produced at high rates in a fraction of typical production time. (We tell people: think minutes, instead of hours). Producing TPCs at higher rates also lowers overall emissions and costs per part. Using our combined expertise, our team has developed extremely efficient manufacturing practices for anything from clips and brackets, to complex assemblies and long-profile support structures.

Specializing in thermoplastic composites for aerospace and high-performance applications, we utilize cutting-edge fabrication methods like stamp forming and continuous compression molding. These techniques allow us to create durable, cost-effective components reinforced with continuous carbon fiber.

Our 6,225 m² state-of-the-art facility handles production in-house, from laminate consolidation to final assembly. By collaborating closely with customers, we push the limits of design for manufacturing, tackling complex geometries and ambitious production goals. Whether it’s early-stage prototyping or full-scale production, our focus remains on cost reduction, high-rate manufacturing, and uncompromising quality.

As a Boeing Premier Bidder and a proud member of the NASA HiCAM program and the American Aerospace Materials Manufacturing Center (AAMMC) Regional Technology Hub, ATC contributes to the next generation of sustainable aircraft composite technologies.

Currently, we boast 1,000,000 thermoplastic components produced annually in our ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and NADCAP-certified facility, and we strive to continue shaping the future of aerospace manufacturing.
